Moore Residence Renovation & Addition Gallatin,Tennessee
The Fairvue Mansion is National Historic Landmark and a treasured icon in the local Gallatin, Tennessee community. Throughout the course of its life, it has evolved as the result of numerous renovations, growing from its original 5,480 square feet that was built in the 1820's. The New Orleans addition in 1839 added 4,418 square feet. Over time, the home had fallen into great disrepair, and at times in history, had been used for a wide variety of uses, including a Gentlemen's Hunt and Race Club and a barn for storing hay and crops.
As the centerpiece of the new upscale residential development at Fairvue Plantation, the house has been restored to its former grandeur. A 2,240 square foot master suite has been added, to allow the owner's to remain on the main floor for everyday living. The house now features 21st century technology, while being respectful of the homes architectural heritage.
